Nebraska 2008                     Migration 2008                     Summer 2008                      Bosque 2009                   Summer 2009

May 12-June 20 with one full week dedicated to an important wedding in the family, resulted in 214 birds found, smashing last year's spring trip record of 207. Nice, since we missed most of migration this year. Hope you enjoy the images entered in chronological order. Highlights were the spiritual experience Carol had with the Black-crowned Night Heron whom she hadn't seen this close and personal since she was first abducted into the birding experience some 10 years ago, and the beautiful and dynamic Golden-fronted Woodpeckers so cooperative with photographic efforts at Palo Duro State Park in Texas
